David Moyes faces a battle to keep Jarrad Branthwaite at Everton this summer.
The defender has become a mainstay in Everton’s side for many years since he moved from Carlisle United back in 2020.
The 22-year-old had a tricky start to the season under Sean Dyche but has dramatically improved.

Chelsea ‘not expected’ to make move for Branthwaite
Branthwaite’s future at Everton is not certain this summer.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The England international only has two years left on his deal, and the Toffees have been told to cash in on Branthwaite.
Tottenham are believed to have a strong interest in the defender. It has been suggested that Spurs see Branthwaite as a long-term replacement for Cristian Romero.

Branthwaite has plenty of potential at Everton
However, the 22-year-old also has admirers from the Blue side of London.
It was suggested that Chelsea could bid £70 million for Branthwaite. Yet, it now seems like that will not make a move for the centre-back at all.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs (6 June), Chelsea are “not expected” to make a move for Branthwaite despite their interest.
Jorrel Hato remains a player of interest to Chelsea. Appeal is in his ability to play left-back and centre-back.

Everton should only consider record fee for Branthwaite
In the second half of the 2024/25 campaign, Branthwaite proved that he has the potential to become a top defender in the Premier League.
If Everton want to be among the best clubs in England once again, the 22-year-old is an asset the Toffees simply cannot give up without a fight.
With Chelsea now out of the race, Tottenham still remain. However, Moyes cannot consider anything lower than a club record fee for the centre-back.
Romelu Lukaku’s departure to Manchester United in 2017 remains Everton’s biggest sale at £75 million.
With Branthwaite easily being a player that the Toffees could build a team around, his value should reflect his importance now, and in the future.
