As Ruben Amorim begins to reassemble his team in preparation for the upcoming season, Manchester United’s transfer business has kicked into high gear.

Rasmus Hojlund had a difficult season at Old Trafford, with extended stretches of inactivity in front of goal interspersed with promising moments.

Given that Champions League football is out of their grasp, United has identified a number of attacking possibilities throughout Europe and knows they need to take immediate action to avoid losing out.

One of them being Brazilian starlet Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. who the Red Devils have officially agreed a deal for £62.5 million.

We previously broke when the Brazilian was set to hold his medical tests and sign his official Manchester United contract.

Cunha, 26, is a world-class Premier League player that United signed quickly not only because he has the ability to make things happen but he is someone who is sure to make an impact straight away in Ruben Amorim’s side.

Across all competitions, Cunha scored 17 goals and got six assists during his stellar season with Wolves.

The Red Devils haven’t stopped there however and are now actively pursuing a move for Cameroon star Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford F.C.

We previously broke Manchester United’s initial interest in the forward which quickly intensified imminently.

The Athletic claims that on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, Manchester United submitted an initial proposal of £55 million for Bryan Mbeumo, which comprises £45 million and £10 million in add-ons.
