Manchester City outcast Kalvin Phillips is prioritising a summer return to Leeds United, according to a report from CaughtOffside.
The England midfielder has emerged as a transfer target for his former club and would reportedly be very keen on a comeback to Elland Road.
Phillips is open to offers as he looks set to depart Man City this summer, having spent the last 18 months away from the club on loan at West Ham and Ipswich Town.
While Ipswich would be keen on signing him permanently as well, a return to Portman Road for Phillips is now ‘highly unlikely’ following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.

According to CaughtOffside, Phillips has no shortage of Premier League suitors following a return to form at Ipswich this season, with Everton, Fulham and Crystal Palace all keen on the 29-year-old.
So far, there has been no indication of talks with any clubs, including Leeds, who are thought to be Phillips’ number one choice.
The England international, who earns £150,000 per week, is under contract with Man City until June 2028 but is unlikely to see out his deal, having made just 31 appearances since joining.
He is currently out with an Achilles injury, which forced him to miss the last 10 top-flight games and will keep him sidelined until August.
Leeds are seeking midfield reinforcements to their Championship-winning squad and are believed to be looking at slightly more attacking options as well.
According to reports, the Whites are considering attacking midfielders Gustavo Hamer and Emiliano Buendia to bring more creativity into Daniel Farke’s side.
Leeds were linked with a move for Buendia in January, before he joined Bayer Leverkusen on loan until the end of the season.
