It is set to be a busy offseason for the Phoenix Suns as they try to rebound after their disappointing season.
Of course, the Suns finished 11th in the Western Conference with an abysmal 36-46 record, causing them to miss the playoffs for the first time since the 2019-20 campaign.
Because of this, the Suns are expected to make some major changes this offseason which already began with them hiring new head coach Jordan Ott and promoting Brian Gregory to be their new general manager.

Now the Suns’ focus shifts to their roster as they are likely looking to move on from both Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal this summer to rebuild around Devin Booker, officially ending their failed big three.
While Durant is the headliner for the Suns this offseason, they could also look to move other key pieces of their roster as they try to become contenders once again.
According to Forbes’ Evan Sidery, the Suns are open to trade calls on Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neal, adding two more players to their trade block this offseason.
For Allen, he put together a career-best season in 2023-24, his first with the Suns, but he struggled last season, like most of the roster.
Last season, the 29-year-old guard averaged 10.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game while shooting 44.8% from the field and 42.6% from three-point range.

The three-point sharpshooter should receive interest from many teams around the league thanks to his shooting abilities and also his defensive play.
For O’Neal, he should also see some interest from other teams due to him being a prototypical 3-and-D wing.
With both players likely on the move this summer, along with both Durant and Beal, it is clear that Phoenix is completely overhauling their roster as they try to return to their winning ways before building their big three.
