The most recent redundancy process is almost finished, and it’s thought that despite the controversy, the cuts have helped United find a place to spend this summer while Ruben Amorim works to rebuild.

INEOS is quickly changing United’s transfer strategy through more intelligent scouting and quicker talks.

The club’s new sporting organisation is not wasting any time.

Manchester United won the race for Brazilian star Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C for £62.5 million.

Cunha is seen as a fantastic improvement over struggling attackers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, contributing much-needed firepower to the United attack with 17 goals and six assists in 34 appearances.

They are now actively pursuing a deal for Cameroon star Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford F.C.

CentreDevils exclusively revealed earlier that the Red Devils are planning internally on a second improved bid for the attacker.

These signings are all hugely influenced by new Manchester United sporting director Jason Wilcox.

In recognition of Jason Wilcox’s contributions to the team, Sir Jim Ratcliffe gave him a significant promotion to the sporting director role.

The 53-year-old, who brought an abundance of experience to his new position, was formerly the director of football for The Saints.

He also held key positions in the Manchester City Academy before joining United.

It’s now confirmed he will be working with a director whose position has now been made permanent.

According to Mike Keegan of the Daily Mail, performance director Sam Erith position has now been made permanent.

After his arrival from Madison Square Garden Sports in New York, where he worked closely with the New York Knicks and New York Rangers basketball and ice hockey clubs.

Before joining Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. in New York as Player Performance and Science Lead in November 2022, Erith spent 11 years at City, first as Head of Sport Science and later as Head of Human Performance.

Erith is just one of the many changes expected to be made over the next few months by INEOS as Manchester United prepare for many alterations.
