Ruud Van Nistelrooy remains the Leicester City manager, but that is expected to change this summer amid the transfer window.
Leicester City are yet to part ways with Ruud Van Nistelrooy, and are still expected to do so, but they could be waiting until the end of the 2024/25 financial year to make the managerial change.
Regarding the Dutchman’s successor, Sheffield Wednesday head coach Danny Rohl has emerged as a frontrunner for Leicester.
Sheffield Wednesday are under an EFL embargo, and Rohl has made clear his intentions to leave, which could pave the way for the Foxes to pounce.
With Van Nistelrooy’s successor yet to be appointed, EFL Analysis can reveal that their summer transfer window business is contingent on one very important factor.

Leicester City’s transfer window business depends on next manager
Former Southampton boss Russell Martin had been a leading candidate for the Foxes role, and had agreed terms with Leicester City, but snubbed the King Power outfit in favour of the Rangers job.
Therefore, Leicester’s search for Van Nistelrooy’s replacement continues, and Foxes fans are desperate to see Rohl appointed.
Amid the managerial uncertainty, and Leicester facing a double-figure points deduction for an alleged breach of PSR rules, we understand that the Foxes’ transfer business could be contingent on whichever head coach takes the reins this summer.
EFL Analysis’ Chief Football correspondent Graeme Bailey exclusively revealed: “Obviously, they could make a profit on Memeh Caleb Akoli, but Leicester kept a few players when they went down last time.
“So I don’t see wholesale changes, unless the new manager wants it, and we’ll see where that goes.
“It all depends on who comes in. The same goes for players like Harry Winks and Jannik Vestergaard. Very much so.”
Aside from Rohl, another manager has been touted for the Foxes job, which could prove even more difficult next season due to the financial situation Leicester are embroiled in.

Sean Dyche could be an option for Leicester City job amid Danny Rohl links
With both the Owls and Leicester under financial scrutiny, and Rohl’s preferred destination being Germany, there is no guarantee the German head coach becomes the next Foxes boss.
As such, Leicester have a succession plan in mind, in the form of former Burnley boss Sean Dyche.
Transfer expert Bailey has outlined that Leicester “aren’t all in on any” target, and Dyche is a vacant manager who could be approached for the job, which would prove to be a sensible option for the Foxes.
Englishman Dyche has won 172 out of his 503 matches in charge in the Premier League and Championship, overseeing 148 draws and 183 losses in that period at Everton, Burnley and Watford.
Dyche departed Everton earlier in the season, but his Championship experience and proven record could help to stabilise the Foxes, and mount a promotion charge this season.
