Osimhen Galatasaray
Man Utd have a huge summer ahead of them as they look to reinforce the squad and make them competitive again this season.
The past couple of campaigns have been very poor for the Red Devils, considering their historic status.

Among the many areas in the squad that need reinforcement, the striker position is among them.
The current options in the Man Utd squad – Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee do not inspire much confidence and reinforcements are the need of the hour.
Now, as per Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Man Utd are making an effort to sign talented Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. The striker spent the season at Galatasaray but looks set to return to the Italian club before making his next move.
The report mentions that apart from a few attempts from Man Utd, no other English clubs have made an approach. Napoli and De Laurentiis are standing firm at around £63.3million (75 million euros clause) to part ways with him this summer, and the Red Devils will need to be willing to pay that fee.
The 26-year-old Nigerian striker played 41 games across all competitions, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists last term. With a contract that expires in 2026, Napoli would be keen to move him on at any cost this summer.
Osimhen has proven to be a goal-scoring machine for quite some time now. The talented striker could help solve a lot of goalscoring issues for Man Utd, should Ruben Amorim sign him this summer. He can also help bring the best out players like Joshua Zirkzee.
However, without any Champions League football to offer, Osimhen might not be keen on making the switch to Man Utd.
It is quite a surprise that more clubs are not interested in the player who could be available for a bargain this summer.
It could all come down to the player’s preference, and should the striker be willing to sacrifice European football for a season, it could work out well for him in the long run. Let’s wait and see if Osimhen is seen wearing a Red Devils jersey next year.
