Paul Joyce has revealed the details of Liverpool’s third bid for Florian Wirtz.

The Reds’ interest in Wirtz is well documented, and they have already sent in two bids to sign the player.

Leverkusen, insistent on getting a premium for the 22-year-old, has rebuffed both offers, forcing Liverpool to return to the negotiating table with an improved offer.

According to Joyce, the Reds have offered £113 million for Wirtz. The new package guarantees Leverkusen £ 100 million and includes an additional £13 million in add-ons.

Judging by Joyce’s claim, it is apparent that Liverpool are not ready to back down in their pursuit of Wirtz.

Arne Slot’s side are already in a strong position, having secured an agreement with Wirtz, who is said to be keen on the move.

The only thing left is for Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen to finalise the deal for the player’s move.

After seeing their first two bids rejected, Liverpool have now made their third bid, but Joyce claims that Leverkusen are still holding off for the full £126 payment they set for the player.

The report also revealed that, as things stand, there is no indication that Liverpool wants to go beyond their current offer or meet Leverkusen’s valuation of the player.

“Negotiations are continuing, but as it stands, Liverpool are unwilling to meet the German club’s full asking price,” the journalist wrote.”

Meanwhile, earlier on Friday, Sport BILD’s Axel Hesse reported that Florian Wirtz’s move to Liverpool can be considered a done deal.

At the same time, Fabrizio Romano also asserted that “negotiations between Liverpool and Leverkusen for Wirtz are at final stages with details being sorted.”

German publication Kicker corroborated Romano and BILD’s claims, confirming that “there are no longer any serious doubts about Florian Wirtz’s transfer from Bayer 04 to Liverpool FC.”

With the third bid now submitted, it is hoped that both parties can reach an agreement for Wirtz soon.

Liverpool have submitted a revised offer to Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz of £113 million as talks continue between the clubs.
