Berge shines as Norway demolish Italy

The Italians had no way back after the Norwegians surged into a three-goal lead after 34 minutes thanks to strikes from Alexander Sorloth, Antonio Nusa and Erling Haaland. Berge, who excelled in breaking up play and driving his side forward from central midfield, almost added a goal of his own but his rising drive from the edge of the box came back off the woodwork.

Norway, who have nine points from their first three matches, are top of Group I. They travel to Tallin next to take on Estonia on Monday night.
