Manchester United’s summer transfer window is moving at a rate fans won’t be used to seeing.
Ineos has taken a lot of criticism over the past year, with this summer seen as being pivotal for the future of Manchester United.
Recruitment needs to be spot on, and so far, Jason Wilcox is doing an excellent job.
Already, United have completed a deal to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves, triggering his release clause, while fans await the official announcement once everything is sorted out.
Now, United are pushing close to completing a deal to sign Bryan Mbeumo, which would be a second major upgrade that completely revamps the attack at Old Trafford.
But, this is not where the Red Devils will stop this summer.

Manchester United in the race to sign Ousmane Diomande
Bolstering the number 10 positions within Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system will only be the start, with several big sales expected to open the door for further arrivals.
One position which is low on the priority list, but Ineos would likely still want an addition, is centre-back, and now United have joined the race for Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande.
More United News
United have long wanted Diomande, and with his former head coach at Sporting now in charge, this summer might see a deal struck.
Now, according to the printed version of A Bola on Saturday, United are competing with Premier League rivals for the Ivory Coast international.
Crystal Palace are thought to be leading the race as they search for a potential Marc Guehi replacement, while Liverpool, Arsenal, and United are keeping an eye on Diomande.
It is claimed that offers could begin arriving in the coming days, with acceleration over a transfer expected in the coming weeks.
Sporting will only sit down at the negotiating table for offers which reach the region of €60m or £50m.
It was claimed in December that Diomande had spoken with Amorim over a move to United, and now this could move beyond just interest if the Red Devils are really looking to add a defender.
Ruben Amorim also wants to sign Viktor Gyokeres
Diomande was handed his Sporting debut under Amorim and quickly became a key part of the Portuguese manager’s title-winning team.
Earlier this season, after the memorable Sporting thrashing of Manchester City, Diomande was labelled as being a “diamond” by Viktor Gyokeres under his Instagram post.
Gyokeres is another former Sporting star United are looking into signing this summer, in what would be another deal Amorim would be very keen to see happen.
Gyokeres is ‘very keen’ on a move to Manchester United this summer, and he might even be joined by a current teammate if the Diomande talks are anything to go off.
