Thomas Tuchel is set to name an experimental starting XI as England take on Andorra in their third 2026 World Cup qualifier. Tuchel got off to a 100% start in his first two games as Three Lions boss, with wins over Albania and Latvia, and will be hoping for more of the same in his first away fixture since replacing Gareth Southgate.
However, the German coach appears to be going rogue with his team for the 5pm kick-off, with Declan Rice among the notable absentees, while Chelsea captain Reece James, who scored in his first start back in an England shirt during the last international break, is set to start on the left.

The experimental side sees several major changes
According to an update from The Telegraph, James and Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones are set to start on either flank of a back four, with Ezri Konsa and Dan Burn starting centrally. Jude Bellingham is expected to start in midfield, but it will not be alongside usual partner Rice. Instead, Jordan Henderson will return to the Three Lions line-up.
Noni Madueke, who impressed during Lee Carsley's temporary spell, will start on the right, with Cole Palmer acting as the number ten and Morgan Rogers being handed an opportunity on the left. Captain Harry Kane is expected to once again lead the line.
