Manchester United man has given transfer approval–Full speed ahead for‘chosen one’

Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has given his approval to Inter Milan, who are now ‘full speed ahead’ on a deal for him.

That’s [according to Corriere dello Sport](https://www.corrieredellosport.it/news/calcio/calcio-mercato/inter/2025/06/07-141216551/hojlund_ha_detto_s_allinter_il_nodo_la_formula), who say the Manchester United man is the ‘chosen one’ for Inter to be their third option upfront. Timing will be fundamental to any deal happening, though, otherwise they risk being burned by the competition.

The Champions League finalist have been moving on Hojlund for several weeks. They even initially explored a double deal including Joshua Zirkzee.

Manchester United are thinking of keeping the Dutchman, though, so Inter have now turned their focus to Hojlund instead.

He’s already approved a return to Italy and is ready to play for Inter. Manchester United are not putting any obstacles in the way either. The difficult part will be finding a formula that suits all parties.

Inter Milan want a loan with a simple right to buy. They could be tempted to accept an obligation to buy tied to certain conditions.

But Manchester United have not yet opened up to the idea of a loan deal and are insisting on an immediate permanent transfer this summer. They want to recoup as much of the €70m plus they spent two summers ago and would accept €40-45m for the Danish striker.
