The New York Knicks are ready to completely empty their shelves in order to get one of the biggest basketball players in the world.
According to Gery Woelfel, via Legion Hoops, the Knicks are prepared to make a “tsunami-type offer” for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Rumors about Antetokounmpo coming to the Knicks have existed for months, and they are only going to grow louder now.

You can’t blame the Knicks for wanting to move heaven and earth to get Antetokounmpo.
He averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists in 2024-25, shooting 60.1 percent from the field.
He is still playing at MVP-caliber levels and is a cornerstone of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Speaking of them, the Bucks won’t move him unless they get a lot in return for him.
The Knicks have a deep roster full of talent they can send, and they would surely find a way to include draft picks, too.
As attractive as Antetokounmpo is, is he the ideal fit for the Knicks right now?
Can he take them to the next level, and will his inclusion on the roster decimate the team they have now?
Will they have to give up too much depth and talent?
New York will have to be careful if they try to move forward with this.
Antetokounmpo could bring a lot to the team, but he could also force them to give up nearly all they have.
We have seen trades that look good on paper but actually end up hurting a team because of what they need to part with.
Could this be a colossal step forward for the Knicks or a big slip backward?
