Fabrizio Romano shares'confirmed'Alejandro Garnacho update amid Premier League interest,'There were calls from...'

Manchester United are in the process of a huge attacking overhaul this summer, with Alejandro Garnacho on the chopping block.

The Argentine wonderkid has made himself public enemy number one for Ruben Amorim.

It was after Manchester United lost the Europa League final that the relationship reached the point of no return, with Alejandro Garnacho speaking to Argentine media critically of the club and manager.

After this, the relationship was done, and Amorim told Garnacho to find a new club while dropping the 20-year-old completely for the season finale against Aston Villa.

Already, United have brought in Matheus Cunha, who will effectively replace Garnacho.

Now, Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on Garnacho’s future.

Fabrizio Romano says Alejandro Garnacho has plenty of interest

Garnacho has no shortage of suitors this summer, with Ineos keen to get rid of the winger who caused issues more than once.

Now, speaking on his YouTube channel on Saturday, Romano has re-emphasised that Garnacho will be sold, adding that there are multiple Premier League sides showing an interest.

“I want to confirm, Alejandro Garnacho will leave Manchester United. The decision is made not only on Ruben Amorim’s side but also on the management’s side, so it is time to part ways.

“They are already looking for solutions. There were calls from Bayer Leverkusen, they are interested in the player, and Erik ten Hag appreciates Garnacho, but at the moment, it financially looks like a difficult deal to do.

“There is some interest from Italy, but especially from the Premier League, they are calling and pushing for Garnacho. We will see what happens in terms of negotiations with United, but there is a strong possibility of seeing Garnacho in the Premier League with a different shirt.

“It is a concrete possibility for this summer, let’s see what happens, there is a lot of interest. From what I hear, three Premier League clubs have called for Garnacho.”

Chelsea are a known suitor for Garnacho in England, but selling to a rival is a big risk for Ineos.

Where could Garnacho move to within the Premier League?

Selling Garnacho within the Premier League is a big risk, because if he can find the levels everyone knows he could potentially reach, then it will be reflected on as a big mistake for the Red Devils.

However, if United do get a figure north of £50m, it is hard to imagine Ineos refusing.

It would be interesting to see which three Premier League clubs are keen on Garnacho, considering Chelsea’s talks to sign Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund.

Tottenham are one likely club to show an interest, while another may be Arsenal, with both lacking a left winger as good as Garnacho could potentially be. Additionally, Aston Villa could be an option as they are not signing Marcus Rashford.

Ideally, United will sell abroad, which eliminates the risk of him coming to Old Trafford next season and making Amorim pay, but a domestic sale might lead to more money.
