For the last few weeks, NBA fans have been waiting for big news about Giannis Antetokounmpo leaving the Milwaukee Bucks.
The latest reports from inside the team suggest they may have been waiting for nothing.
According to Jake Fischer, per Legion Hoops, the momentum for Antetokounmpo demanding a trade from the Bucks has “significantly stalled.”
“The common belief amongst league insiders that he will remain with the only franchise he’s ever played for,” said Fischer.

If Antetokounmpo ends up staying with the Bucks, it’ll be quite surprising for many people.
The conventional wisdom has suggested that Antetokounmpo would be heading for a new destination because he is tired of his team coming up short.
Obviously, a bunch of teams would jump at the chance to acquire Antetokounmpo, but they may never get the opportunity, at least not this summer.
If he does remain in Milwaukee, there will still be a lot of questions.
He wants to win a championship, and the Bucks feel far from being true title contenders.
So if Antetokounmpo sticks around, how will the front office improve the team and give him a better shot at earning another ring?
Just because Antetokounmpo might stay doesn’t mean changes won’t be coming to Milwaukee.
In fact, this could still be a very busy and consequential summer, no matter what happens with him.
