Aston Villa are eyeing a deal to sign Stoke City sensation Sol Sidibe this summer, according to John Percy.
The Villans are set to undergo a busy summer window once again as Unai Emery's side finished outside of the Champions League places following a 2-0 defeat to Man Utd on the final day of the Premier League season.
That means there is likely to be a change of transfer strategy this summer, and the club are now eyeing a deal for one of the country's top talents as a result.

Villa have garnered a reputation for developing some of the country's best youngsters, with Morgan Rogers becoming an England international since his move from Middlesbrough - which has seen him become one of the top attackers in the Premier League.
That reputation is likely to help them bring in other young players, and the club are now keen on sealing a deal for England Under-18 international Sidibe following his fine season at Stoke City in the Championship.
Described as an 'athletic freak', the 18-year-old defensive midfielder broke into the Stoke side this season and made 13 appearances across all competitions, showing his quality and potential.
With Villa likely to be forced to sell some first-team stars, including goalkeeper Emi Martinez, this summer, it seems as though they are keen to continue signing young players with the idea of developing them, rather than signing ready-made stars.
The club signed Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio during the January transfer window on loan deals with big wages, but both players have returned to their parent clubs after they failed to qualify for the Champions League and it remains to be seen if those deals will be revisited.
But Sidibe is someone the club have a strong interest in, and this is now a deal to keep an eye on as the transfer window progresses.
