The Washington Mystics will face the Connecticut Sun for a Sunday afternoon game. Perfect game to gain back some confidence after some disheartening losses recently.

The Mystics are 3-6, and there’s a big difference between being 3-7 and being 4-6 after 10 games. The storyline for the Sun on the other hand has been injuries and then some more injuries. They have started the season 1-6, with one of those losses coming from the Mystics.

Washington is not shooting well from beyond the arc to start the season and this was on display very vividly versus Indiana two games ago. On the other hand, Mystics’ rookie Iriafen is doing really well (recently named Rookie of the Month).

Sykes has started the season very well averaging over 20 points and 4 assists a contest, but her efficiency is quite low (though she is shooting over 80 percent from the line) and she is shooting 35 percent from the field only.

Nevertheless, this is not going to be an easy game, as the Sun will surely bring some desperation to avoid going down 1-7!
