Everton are looking to bolster their attack with Villarreal striker Thierno Barry in the ongoing transfer window.

David Moyes may need a replacement for Dominic Calvert-Lewin soon, with the Englishman’s current contract expiring in the coming weeks.

Youssef Chermiti’s fitness issues at Goodison Park have been concerning in recent months, and the Toffees undoubtedly need to add reinforcements up front.

The Scottish manager will arguably want a new striker at the Blues this summer, and The Friedkin Group (TFG) are working on giving him just that.

Barry has £33m+ release clause as Everton want transfer

Barry is attracting interest from the Toffees this summer, and they’re willing to pay his release clause of around £33million, according to Matteo Moretto.

Barry’s La Liga record this season.

It has been claimed that evaluations are being made, and no decision has been finalised yet regarding the Villarreal striker, who scored 11 La Liga goals this season.

With Armando Broja returning to Chelsea, it would be prudent for the Merseyside outfit to bolster their attack in the coming weeks.

Moyes should push for striker transfer at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Moyes wanted Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, but the young Englishman opted to sign for Chelsea instead.

The Scottish manager must now demand more urgency from Angus Kinnear and the recruitment department to bring a new centre-forward to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Beto emerged as a surprising outlet for the Toffees towards the second half of the season, but supporters don’t have faith in the Guinea-Bissau striker to lead the line at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Everton should prioritise getting a reliable goalscorer this summer, and the Friedkins must pull off a statement signing to show their ambition.

With a few additions at full-back, the Blues may have enough quality in their defence to push further up the Premier League table next season.

Despite Abdoulaye Doucoure’s exit, Moyes seems to have enough quality options in the middle of the park.

Iliman Ndiaye has been a revelation for the Toffees, and Dwight McNeil will undoubtedly play a significant role next season after coming back from injury if he stays.

A new number nine should be the Merseyside outfit’s priority, and it remains to be seen whether Barry will be the chosen one.
