“A Bad Decision” – Pundit Warns Chelsea Not to Sign Alejandro Garnacho

Alejandro Garnacho’s brilliant start at Manchester United has reached its depths as his issues with Ruben Amorim have driven him towards the inevitable exit. Former United defender Paul Parker is adamant that Garnacho’s attitude problem and unreliability marked his exit from Old Trafford, and now the door is ajar.

Parker did not hesitate to give his opinion on the future of the 20-year-old:

“Garnacho needs to be exported. There is no exit, because there will never be success at Manchester United. He doesn’t have the right attitude and he doesn’t want to put in enough work. I don’t think that ever will change.”

Garnacho now has Bayern Leverkusen, Napoli, and Chelsea clubs chasing after him, with United placing a price tag of €45–60 million on him. Parker warned that the Blues should look elsewhere, urging Garnacho to move to another country:

“I don’t think Chelsea were ever interested in him, to be quite honest, and I also think it would be a bad decision for both him and Chelsea if he went there.

“He needs a bit of fresh air, he needs a change of environment, and I think he could benefit from a move to another country.”

Why Garnacho Clashed With Amorim

It started on the back of the defeat in the Europa League final against Tottenham. Garnacho, one of the starting options for most of the competition, was excluded until the second half. Fuming afterwards, he complained:

“I played every round … today I only played 20 minutes. I don’t know. I will try to enjoy the summer and then see what happens.”

His brother added the blaze, describing Amorim as having thrown Garnacho under the bus. The head coach reportedly had an angry reaction in front of United players, supposedly telling Garnacho to find a new club. Garncacho will likely leave Old Trafford this summer.
