The departure list at Manchester United seems to be going by the day with more players being linked with moves away from Old Trafford and towards other destinations.

This includes Rasmus Hojlund who is nearing a move to Inter Milan and Marcus Rashford who may leave the club following his loan spell at Aston Villa in the second half of the 2024-25 season.

This comes at a time of reflection and change within the United playing squad as Ruben Amorim’s men get prepared for pre-season and the upcoming 2025-26 season which will see the Red Devils compete in three tournaments – the Premier League, EFL Cup and FA Cup.

One of the names on the reported list of potential departures was United youth academy graduate Alejandro Garnacho who has played regularly since his breakthrough into the team in 2022.

Al-Nassr Consider Garnacho

Now, it is being reported that the winger could be on his way to Al-Nassr.

This comes because the Saudi Pro League side have been reported to have discussed the 20 year old as an alternative option to current Liverpool winger Luis Diaz after the English Champions informed clubs that the Columbian was still in Arne Slot’s plans for the 2025-26 season.

This comes at a time of change in some of Al-Nassr’s setup as former Liverpool player Sadio Mane has reported to have been told that he can find a new club to play football at next season.

This has created the possibility of Garnacho linking up with his boyhood hero Cristiano Ronaldo who currently plays for the Saudi Arabian giants.

At just 20, the Argentine also still holds an immense amount of potential and a move away from Old Trafford to Al Nassr where he would be able to learn from a United legend in Ronaldo, these skills could be developed to make the winger a better player that he is currently.

A move away would also create more funds for Ruben Amorim as he aims to sign his targets for a new look Manchester United side.

Do you think Garnacho will join Al-Nassr and would United be better off without their youth academy graduate?
