Everything we know about Leeds United 25/26 away kit leaks following Mark Viduka confirmation

Leeds United’s 25/26 away kit in the Premier League is going to be an iconic call-back to the 2001-03 blue and yellow kit.

Leeds’ return to the Premier League sees them back in a division where the 49ers will believe they belong in terms of stature and global reach.

One measurement of their size that routinely proves how big an entity Leeds United are is the kit sales each season, sure to grow even further with a Premier League badge on the side of the strip.

Here, we look at everything we know about the away kit this summer as Leeds fans await another modern classic…

Who is manufacturing Leeds United’s 25/26 kits?

As expected, Adidas will remain Leeds’ sole kit supplier for next season onwards.

Back in October 2024, Adidas and Leeds announced an extension on their partnership together, with the agreement due to come to a conclusion at the end of the season just gone, having been initially signed upon Leeds’ promotion back in 2020.

The length of this new extension is unspecified.

What colour is the Leeds United 25/26 away kit going to be?

Leaks from Footy Headlines previously reported that Leeds would be getting a royal blue away kit for the upcoming 25/26.

The kit pays homage to the iconic away ‘Strongbow’ kit from 2001-03 worn by the likes of Mark Viduka, Lee Bowyer, Lucas Radebe and others.

Such reports have since been relayed by the YEP’s Graham Smyth, revealing that this kit is in the pipeline to be unveiled later in the summer.

When will Leeds United’s 25/26 away kit be released?

Leeds are typically on the late side when it comes to announcing each of their kits for the season ahead, not subscribing to the trend of some clubs wearing next season’s strip for the final game of the current season.

There’s no date yet for when the away kit will be announced, but Wednesday 24th July was the date of last season’s official unveiling.

Years prior to that came even later 2023 and 2022, both in early August.

Who is going to be modelling the kit?

The YEP’s above report also shares that those who played in the original 2001-03 strip will be called upon alongside fans to model the new strip for next season.

Mark Viduka, Michael Bridges, Ian Harte, Gary Kelly and Nigel Martyn are all named as part of the promotion photoshoot, with work taking place on Wednesday in Halifax to bring the reveal together.
