Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is a major question mark this summer as Ruben Amorim seeks attacking improvements.
Ruben Amorim is preparing for his first full season as Manchester United boss, with attacking additions his top priority.
Goals were in short supply by United’s usual standards, and it’s clear that Amorim is placing a real focus on improvements in the final third.
United have agreed to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers with the Brazilian becoming Amorim’s first major summer addition.
Cunha is likely to play as a number 10 for United, with Amorim potentially bringing in another striker down the line.
Viktor Gyokeres remains on United’s radar, and Jean Philippe-Mateta is of interest as Amorim eyes up a new centre forward.

The Dane impressed in his debut campaign with United but struggled this past season.
Hojlund managed just four Premier League goals and appeared to be completely bereft of confidence by the end of the season.
Inter have shown an interest in taking Hojlund back to Serie A, and those rumours are ramping up.
Reports from Gianluca Di Marzio on Thursday night suggested Inter want Hojlund, but the appointment of new manager Cristian Chivu could delay a move.
The Romanian is weighing up the Inter squad and Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny – who was coached by Chivu at Parma – is also on the radar.
La Gazzetta dello Sport now report that Inter have decided to sign two strikers this summer, with Hojlund and Bonny their top targets.
Inter seemingly want top competition for Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez, but affording both may be tricky.
United would seemingly be open to a deal involving Hojlund, but it’s now over to Inter to come up with the right offer.
Inter chief coy on Rasmus Hojlund
Inter lost the Champions League final in embarrassing fashion just a week ago, falling to Paris Saint-Germain in a 5-0 thumping.
President Giuseppe Marotta is now looking to take Inter forward after Simone Inzaghi’s departure as well as the shock hiring of Chivu.
As quoted by Tuttomercatoweb, Marotta has remained coy when questioned about Hojlund, simply suggesting that he and Bonny figure to be on the wish list alongside other potential targets.
Piero Ausilio and assistant sporting director Dario Baccin have been working on signings, with strikers the top priority.
“We have been working, in particular Ausilio and Baccin, for months on what could be possible adjustments, we know that the offensive department is the one that receives the most attention,” said Marotta when asked about Hojlund.
“The names you have made can be included in a list of other names that will be the subject of investigation and possible negotiations,” he added.
United had high hopes for Hojlund, but may actually hope to cash in on the striker in order to reinvest in new talent for Amorim ahead of next season.
