Brentford boss Thomas Frank demands that Tottenham Hotspur beat Manchester United for Bryan Mbeumo if they want to hire him. The Red Devils are negotiating a deal with Brentford to sign Mbeumo and bolster their attack under manager Ruben Amorim.
United have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves to start their busy summer transfer window, prioritising the attacking department. The Red Devils have a busy summer ahead as they intend to back Amorim with a strong squad for next season.
United finished 16th in the Premier League, with the current team’s failure to adjust to Amorim’s style as one factor. The Manchester giant cannot afford to have a similar season, which was well below their stature and reputation in football.

Thomas Frank is planning to outmanoeuvre Manchester United by demanding that Tottenham Hotspur sign Bryan Mbeumo as part of his appointment.
According to The Mirror, Frank wants Tottenham to sign Mbeumo by beating United, as part of his potential appointment. Spurs sacked Ange Postecoglou recently, and Frank remains a primary target for the London club to take over the managerial role.
Meanwhile, Brentford have rejected a £55m bid for Mbeumo from United as they hold onto their demand of around £60m. While Mbeumo has opted to sign for United, a Champions League lure and reunion with Frank could sway him away.
After all, the current Brentford boss played a big role in his development and understands how to use the 25-year-old. The Cameroon international made 42 appearances for Brentford in all competitions last season, scoring 20 goals and providing nine assists.
Despite the recent development, United remains in the front seat to secure the deal and strengthen their attack with Mbeumo. However, dragging the negotiation will only work against them, as there are few good available attacking options in the market.
