The PA news agency (via BBC) report that former Arsenal player Aaron Ramsey has agreed a deal to sign for Mexican side Club Universidad Nacional, also known as Pumas UNAM.
Ramsey is reportedly set to become the first high-profile British player to play in the Mexican league.
The 34-year-old had been linked with the permanent manager job at Cardiff City, having acted as their interim manager at the end of the 2024/25 campaign whilst injured. But he wants to continue his playing career, targeting an appearance at the World Cup next summer.

Fabrizio Romano confirms that Ramsey will sign as a new Pumas UNAM player in the coming days, adding that the Welsh international is ready for a new chapter in Mexico.
Ramsey only made 10 senior appearances for Cardiff this season, amid a couple of hamstring setbacks that ultimately ended in surgery.
The hope will be that he can recover from his time out to play a consistent role with Pumas UNAM next season, followed up with an appearance at the World Cup.
