The win means Wardley is now the WBA interim world heavyweight champion, with Warren saying a title fight could very well be next, after a couple of important steps first.
Wardley is going to become a dad in the coming days, while Oleksandr Usyk meets Daniel Dubois for the undisputed heavyweight crown at Wembley on July 19th.

"Somebody’s going to come away with those four belts and once that’s done, there will be some mandatories.
“And during that period of time, they’ll all get a shot, all the various guys will get a shot for their specific belts.
“For me, whenever Fabio feels he’s ready to go, we’re here to make it happen for him.
"We love working with his team, they’re such good people to work with, enthusiastic, get behind the promotion – it’s a promoter’s dream and makes it really easy for us to do it and put it together.
“We’re with him and we’re going to deliver for him.”
Warren also suggested that his Queensberry Promotions could return to Portman Road with Wardley in the future, saying he'd spoken to Town CEO Mark Ashton about it.
“We said that to him (Ashton) that we would be back, a bit like the old Arnold Schwarzenegger… we will be back," Warren enthused.
“It was a great show even despite the weather. It was a fabulous night and I’m proud of this guy.

“He’s a boxer, he’s a fighter, but he’s got that fighter’s heart, that resilience, and there were moments in that fight where he was getting caught and I could see how other fighters wouldn’t have gone on like he did, he showed a lot of grit in there.
“And as he said at the press conference, it only takes him one punch. He found the punch and he did it, he did it in style – that’s what he is, he’s a fighter.”
