Liverpool have been busy in the transfer market this summer as they look to build on a sensational league-winning campaign and strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Arne Slot was praised for his immediate impact at the team, having come in to fill in massive Jurgen Klopp shoes, which he did magnificently.
Now, the club appears ready to back Slot fully in the market as they aim to stay ahead of the pack.
The Reds have already signed Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen, while Liverpool are expected to sign Milos Kerkez next.
Talks are also progressing with Leverkusen over a mega move for Florian Wirtz, with Liverpool ready to break the British transfer record to sign Wirtz.

But while new signings are key, Slot is also preparing for the challenges ahead, particularly the absence of Mohamed Salah during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. However, the Reds may already have a replacement for him under their noses.
Jeremie Frimpong as right winger vs Netherlands
Frimpong was in action against Finland on Saturday night, operating on the right side of a front three alongside Memphis Depay and his Liverpool teammate Cody Gakpo.
While it wasn’t his most outstanding performance, he still did enough to show why he’s capable of playing as a right winger in addition to his usual roles at right-back and wing-back.
He came close to scoring, forcing a superb save from Lukas Hradecky shortly after Depay had given the Netherlands an early lead.
Frimpong finished the match with two shots on target and created two chances for his teammates, displaying some great attacking threat from wide areas.
Liverpool can replace Mohamed Salah with Jeremie Frimpong when needed
With AFCON set to kick off in December, Liverpool will be without their superstar Salah, for around a month as he represents Egypt.
That period coincides with a typically congested fixture list, meaning the Reds will need a reliable solution to fill the void left by Salah.
There have been some suggestions that Slot could use Frimpong as a wing-back, which would likely see Conor Bradley step in at right-back.
Frimpong has featured as a right winger just six times in his career but has returned an impressive three goals in those appearances.
While his main position remains right-back and most recently right wing-back, where he has excelled, his attacking qualities make him a genuine option further forward.

Given his attacking output from advanced right-sided roles, Frimpong certainly has the attributes to provide cover for Salah during AFCON and possibly even surprise a few in the process.
