Barcelona have reportedly told Andreas Christensen that his contract at the club will not be renewed and that he can leave this summer.
Christensen is heading into the final year of his existing deal but will be allowed to move on in the summer if an interesting offer arrives, according to AS.
The report claims that while Hansi Flick was happy for Christensen to stay, Deco has decided the club can do without the Dane.
Deco would rather bank on Ronald Araujo for next season and is happy to offload Christensen as he is one of five center-backs in the first-team squad.
Jules Kounde is also an option in the middle, while Barca apparently want to give youngster Sergi Domínguez more game time next season.
