Manchester United’s transfer business for the 2025/26 season is beginning to pick up pace after the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves and a series of bids being placed for Bryan Mbeumo. Now a PSG star has been discussing a move to Manchester.

United’s window so far…

Ruben Amorim and his staff’s planning will be in full motion with Manchester United’s pre-season tour set to kick off in just over a months time.

Amorim will be hoping the club can finalise further deals and continue to improve on his current Manchester United squad.

Prior to Bryan Mbeumo making himself available to Manchester United, it was rumoured that the Reds were on the look out for a new goalkeeper.

Goalkeeper woes

This follows a season where Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana, has made a series of poor mistakes that have cost United valuable points in the Premier League.

It has been reported that the Red Devils have shown an interest in World Cup winning goalkeeper, Emi Martinez, who seems to be on his way out of Aston Villa.

PSG star discusses Manchester with his teammates

According to L’Equipe, Champions League winning goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, looks to be on his way out of the Parc des Prince and has reportedly been discussing a move to Manchester with his teammates.

Both Manchester clubs, United and City have declared their interest in the Italian and it is said that Manchester seems very appealing to Donnarumma. With no other Premier League sides rumoured to be interested, it looks like he will choose between one of the Manchester-based clubs.

Paris Saint Germain have set a surprisingly low asking price of €40 million. This comes as a shock to fans as the Italian was very decisive for Paris Saint-Germain this season, acting as a wall behind his defence inside the PSG goal.

In a recent press conference Donnarumma said –

“I will discuss the situation at the club with the management and my staff in the coming days. For now, it is still too early.”

The more time that passes, the more Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future at PSG seems to be coming to an end.

The Italian shot-stopper only has one-year left on his deal at PSG – the French side are hoping the former AC Milan player signs a contract extension, if not, they may have to cash in.

Ruben Amorim will be hoping the lack of European football for Manchester United next season does not deter Donnarumma from coming to Old Trafford. If so, we may be seeing the towering goalkeeper on the other side of Manchester next season.
