Three Troubled Former Cowboys Arrested Within Four-Day Span

FRISCO - They say bad things happen in threes. And so it has been for a trio of former Dallas Cowboys players who have been arrested in a recent three-day span.

On Wednesday, former Cowboys pass rusher Greg Hardy, who played with the team in 2015, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a family member.

On Saturday morning, it was learned that former Cowboys punt returner and cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

And On Saturday afternoon, we learned that former Cowboys second-round NFL Draft pick Kelvin Joseph was arrested in connection with a fatal highway accident.

Joseph's apparent involvement in an accident occurred Saturday morning on U.S. Highway 75 near Richardson, Texas, a suburb within the greater Dallas area.

According to police, a 27-year old woman named Cody Morris was riding a motorcycle and died in the crash that shut down northbound lanes on U.S. Highway 75 more more than three hours.

Police reported observing signs of intoxication when speaking to Joseph, who was arrested and charged with DWI and collision involving personal injury or death.

Joseph, 25, is a current member of the DC Defenders of the UFL. He was selected by the Cowboys in Round 2 of the 2021 NFL Draft. Joseph was cleared of any involvement in a shooting that took place in Dallas in March of 2022.

He eventually landed with the Defenders this spring, playing nine games with the team.

Jones, 41, was booked just before 2 a.m. Saturday into Kenton County jail in Kentucky, across the river from Cincinnati, where he once starred with the Bengals. The charges against him include assault of a police officer. Jones posted a $10,000 bond and was released.

Jones, who played for Dallas in 2008, has been arrested numerous times during the past two decades, most recently in Arlington, Texas, for another case allegedly involving public intoxication, assault of a police officer, and evading arrest ... all coming following the highly publicized Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight at AT&T Stadium.

Hardy, 36, has also had numerous run-ins with the law. This time around, he was booked into the Richardson Jail on charges of assault causing bodily injury to a family member.

This allegation marks the latest in an unfortunate series of legal and behavioral issues for Hardy, a list that includes a high-profile domestic violence case in 2014 and a drug arrest in 2016.
