PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is reportedly taking serious consideration to the possibility of joining Manchester United this summer amid uncertainty surrounding his future.

The 26-year-old's contract in the French capital expires in 2026 and while PSG are thought to be confident of agreeing terms with the Italian shot stopper, it is believed that Donnarumma is less convinced. It is currently unclear if the wage that PSG are offering him is suitable for what he wants.

When asked about his future, the goalkeeper has also kept his cards close to his chest. "I haven't decided anything," he explained.

"For the moment, I want to focus on matches with the national team, and nothing else. The situation at the club, I will discuss it in the coming days with the management and my staff.

"For the moment, it is still too early." Now, L'Equipe reports that United and Manchester City have both offered Donnarumma an alternative home should he decide that PSG's deal does not work for him any more.

Instead of batting that interest away, Donnarumma is claimed to be considering it, with the report saying he is even going as far as taking the 'big step' of discussing what life is like in the Premier League with his teammates. It is also added that, in private, Donnarumma has sometimes been upset at his club for failing to back him, especially when external criticism of his talent was at its most vocal.

Both United and City have been heavily linked with goalkeepers considering the uncertainty surrounding their current first choices. While the Reds are not thought to be entirely convinced by Andre Onana, City are aware that Ederson has received lucrative offers from Saudi Pro League clubs for his services.
