Paraag Marathe and 49ers Enterprises are yet to do business in the transfer window despite having much to do at Leeds United.
Daniel Farke will be back in the Premier League with the Whites, and the German manager will want to redeem himself in the top flight after disappointing spells with Norwich City.
The 48-year-old head coach must be backed by the West Yorkshire outfit’s hierarchy, with more experience and quality arguably needed in the squad to avoid immediate relegation next season.
Ben Davies has been linked with a move to Elland Road in the winter transfer window, but the Peacocks’ plans regarding the Wales international with 93 caps may need to change this summer.

Davies’ record at Tottenham this season.
Now that the Welshman’s future is tied down, the West Yorkshire outfit may need to spend a transfer fee to acquire him.
While it would be surprising to see Marathe and the recruitment team still consider the defender as one of the Peacocks’ targets, a potential move can show fans that they’re ambitious enough to spend money this summer on the players they have identified.
Tottenham Hotspur have announced they have triggered the one-year option on Ben Davies' contract, meaning the versatile Wales defender will no longer be available for a free transfer this summer.

Davies a decent addition at Elland Road is 49ers pull off transfer
Junior Firpo’s future looks away from Leeds with every day that passes as his contract expires at the end of June.
Farke may also lose Sam Byram soon if he isn’t offered a new deal, leaving the Whites with a couple of reinforcements to make at left-back.
Davies is capable of playing centrally and out wide, which could evidently be a big bonus for the German manager.
Max Wober could be on his way out of Leeds before the start of next season, leading to a considerable lack of depth at centre-back.
The Wales international has also spent several years in the Premier League, and that experience will arguably be valuable for Leeds.
With the West Yorkshire outfit ending their two-year wait for a return to the top-flight, the 49ers should aim to re-establish the team as one of the biggest in English football.
While Davies isn’t getting any younger, Marathe’s focus should be on building a team capable of facing the rigours of the Premier League, something the 32-year-old is very familiar with.
