Ruben Amorim arrived at Manchester United with big dreams and aspirations for his time at Old Trafford.
Ineos gave Ruben Amorim an ultimatum in November that he must join Manchester United midway through the season despite wanting to stay at Sporting Lisbon until the summer.
His first half-season in charge of the club will go down in history as United’s worst-ever Premier League campaign and defeat in the Europa League final means no European football in 2025/26.
Yet United fans showed their support for Amorim throughout the season and stuck behind the Portuguese coach. Amorim gave a rallying speech to fans after the final home game of the season, and it seems supporters are hopeful that he will deliver success.
