While most of [Liverpool](https://liverpooloffside.sbnation.com/)’s internationals will be involved in FIFA World Cup qualifiers this summer, a trio of younger players will be heading to Slovakia to take part in the UEAFA U21 tournament. Harvey Elliott, Jarell Quansah, and Tyler Morton were all named to Lee Carsley’s England squad as the Three Lions look to defend their title.
Harvey Elliott was part of the team, alongside Curtis Jones, that won the Euro’s in 2023. Elliott is expected to play a key role for the squad this summer as part of the attacking band rather than in a midfield role.
Quansah has a good shot to earn a starting role at center back after serving as a role player for Liverpool this season. The defender had a few struggles, as one would expect for a youngster, but still showed his class more often than not.
Tyler Morton will be fighting for minutes for England after making only five appearances for Liverpool this summer, with no appearances in the Premier League. England will take on Czechia, Slovenia, and Germany as part of Group B. The group stages will kick off this Wednesday, June 11.
