Florian Wirtz has already ended the Rayan Cherki debate with an outrageous piece of skill in the Nations League playoff.
Wirtz was part of the Germany side that lined up against France in the third-fourth playoff clash on Sunday afternoon. And stood opposite the German was Cherki, who like Wirtz has been linked with a move to the Premier League.
And their impeding clashes on these shores have sparked debates on social media - but they were quickly put to bed by a sparkling Wirtz.
Winning the ball in his own half, Wirtz skipped past one French player before slipping the ball through the legs of Cherki.
And Liverpool fans were quick to react on social media.

"Florian Wirtz has absolutely destroyed Cherki," one fan posted attaching the video. While a second replied: "Cherki is so massively overhyped and overrated...not even that good...one season wonder!"
"'Wirtz vs Cherki' meanwhile Cunha is gonna outperform them both next season," a Man Utd fan joked. As a fourth posted: "Wirtz just sent Cherki back to the shops!"
And another added: "Florian Wirtz just dog walked Cherki!"

Liverpool are said to be close for deal for Wirtz, despite seeing their latest bid rejected by Bayer Leverkusen.
Meanwhile, Cherki seems destined for Manchester City, with transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reporting, a deal could soon be completed.
Speaking on his YouTube channel on Saturday, Romano said: "My expectation is that over the weekend this is going to get sorted and then the player, early next week, will do his medical and will travel with the Man City squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.
“That’s the mission for the boy. Man City are in a rush on the player too.”
