This spring was an important time for Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter.
In April, the Jaguars traded up to select the University of Colorado two-way star and Heisman Trophy winner with the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft. Then, in May, Hunter married his high school sweetheart, Leanna Lenee.
Lenee's behavior during Hunter's Heisman ceremony and at another public event last December raised eyebrows and earned her criticism. Despite the backlash, Hunter never wavered in his love for his 23-year-old partner, whose full name is Leanna De La Fuente.
Still, even after Hunter and Lenee tied the knot--and the gridiron standout surprised her with a $200,000 car as a wedding gift--some people have expressed concerns.
Former NFL linebacker Channing Crowder has spoken out about Hunter's reported decision to not sign a prenuptial agreement.

"Information I've gained and the pictures I've seen, and I respect Travis all too much, when you say that you're about to say something mean about somebody. I heard there was no prenup, I don't like that, this man's about to be an MVP type candidate," Crowder said recently on the Pivot Podcast.
"I think he'll be an All-Pro Corner, I think he'll be a very good Receiver. We've heard the stories of the past, how when they were getting together how she called the man ugly. I don't like all that. I don't like it, I don't like those stories. I don't like those things coming out about a young man I respect."
Crowder isn't the only public figure worried about Hunter not signing a prenup, but at the end of the day, Hunter is the person who knows his wife best.
Here's hoping the two remain together and never have to worry about divorce or splitting assets in the first place.
