Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is expected to have a busy summer transfer window as speculation continues to build around his future.

This season, Hojlund struggled scoring just four goals in 32 Premier League appearances. While his form in the Europa League notched his tally to ten for the campaign, he was still six goals short of where he was in his debut season in England.

With Liam Delap previously a priority before moving to Chelsea and United being linked heavily with a move for Viktor Gyokeres, among other striker targets, Hojlund's position has looked unstable. However, the forward spoke out on his future this weekend and with this in mind, MEN Sport has rounded up the latest on the striker.

Hojlund admission

Starting with the man himself, Hojlund explained this weekend that he is under the impression that he shall be at Old Trafford again next season. Speaking to Danish publication Bold, the forward explained: "I have a contract until 2030, so I expect to play for Manchester United.

"I'm looking forward to going on a summer vacation, and then I'm fully dedicated to the project that's underway. I know I can't get much out of reading things.

"I know what the facts are, and that is that I have a contract with Manchester United until 2030. I expect to play there, so I'm just getting ready for some summer vacation and then hopefully a good pre-season."

Amorim's true feelings

Despite suggestions that Ruben Amorim may be pushing to replace Hojlund this season, the Portuguese head coach admitted last month that he was more than happy with the centre-forward. "I’m happy. Of course all the team has to improve, but the way he runs, he fights for every ball, loses a lot of duels, wins some duels," he explained.

"But he is improving. I’m really happy with him, he just needs to continue working hard and better things will come."

Inter Milan stance

This week, the Manchester Evening News brought you the news that Inter are weighing up a move for Hojlund this summer. Their current striker Marko Arnautovic announced on Sunday that he would be leaving the San Siro at the expiry of his contract later this month which would open up a space for Hojlund.

Gazzetta dello Sport added this weekend that Inter remain confident that they will be able to sign Hojlund this summer. However, the Dane is not currently their priority.

That title goes to Ange-Yoan Bonny who their new head coach Christian Chivu is keen to bring in from his previous club Parma. It is claimed that Inter will be able to complete a move for Hojlund at a price of approximately £37.9m.
