Victor Osimhen has been a target of Manchester United for a long period of time as Manchester United look to strengthen their striker base ahead of the 2025-26 season.
This has already been achieved in ways through the signing of Matheus Cunha who joined the Red Devils last week on a 5 year deal from Wolves for a fee of £62.5 million.
Furthermore, United are reported to be closing on on the signing of Bryan Mbuemo from Brentford but are facing competition from Tottenham Hotspur for this move.
However, Victor Osimhen looked to have been a striker target that had got away from United as the Napoli man looked to moving closer towards a move to current Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
This was further strengthened through the fact that the travel and medical for this move to happen were arranged alongside a 75 million euro package for the Italian champions.
Osimhen Turns Down Hilal
However, it has now been reported that Victor Osimhen has turned down the prospect of joining Al-Hilal, no matter the money offered.
This is because of the striker’s desire to play in Europe next season in contrast to playing in Saudi Arabia.
Now, it has been reported that several top Italian clubs are interested in the striker alongside many other European clubs but Osimhen is going to take his time before making a decision on where to play next season.
Osimhen’s Record
The 26 year old has been a prolific force in the Galatasaray side this season scoring on 26 occasions whilst also assisting a further 5 times as the Turkish side raced to the title ahead of other clubs such as Fenerbahce.
With Osimhen now likely to stay in Europe, would you like to see him at Old Trafford or do you think that he would be better suited at another club either in England or another country?
Excl: Victor Osimhen officially rejects Al Hilal 5th offer. He has decided to not move there no Matter the money offered. Case closed ❌
– Main Priority is to stay back in Europe with a Top Italian club very interested and other European clubs.
