Ryan Taylor reports for the Mirror that Leandro Trossard’s priority is still to keep playing for Arsenal, but sources close to the player have confirmed that there is interest in his signing from the Middle East.
Taylor writes that Trossard was the subject of a verbal offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad last September, but there haven’t been any concrete offers so far this summer.
As it stands, the player remains in line for a new contract with Arsenal.

Sami Mokbel reported for the BBC last month that Trossard was in advanced talks with Arsenal over a new deal, with all parties confident of reaching an agreement.
Talks had reportedly been ongoing since January, but had accelerated in the weeks leading up to Mokbel’s story. Andrea Berta was leading the talks, and Trossard had informed the club his first choice was to stay.
James McNicholas added for The Athletic that though Trossard was indeed in talks for a new contract, he wasn’t expected to extend his deal. His current terms run until 2027, and that’s not set to change, but the winger is set to receive a pay increase.
