Whilst the majority of Manchester United fans may be focused on the potential incomings that Ruben Amorim aims to bring into Old Trafford, the outgoings are arguably just as important.
With a smaller transfer budget than other sides around them in the Premier League, the Reds are having to make sales both to make room in the squad for new arrivals but also to free up wages and put more funds into the bank for the recruitment team to work with during the off-season.
This has also been seen with several United players rumoured to be departing the clubs including Rasmus Hojlund who looks to be on his way to Inter Milan and Marcus Rashford who the Red Devils have put onto the transfer market – both as a permanent and loan options for sides around Europe.
Among those on the list of potential departees is Jadon Sancho who has had an arguably unsuccessful spell at Manchester United since joining United for Bourissa Dortmund in 2021.
Dortmund Enquire About Sancho
Now, with Sancho looking to be on his way out of Old Trafford, many clubs have looked at the winger and expressed an interest.
However, the latest update is Sancho’s former side Borussia Dortmund have been asked to be kept up to date with the winger’s situation and any developments that may take place during the transfer window, according to reports.
Sancho made 104 appearances for the German side during his time with the club scoring 38 times in what was seen to be a largely successful spell with Dortmund.
If Sancho was to go to Dortmund on a loan or a permanent deal, it would also not be the first time that this has happened.
This is because of Sancho’s loan spell with the former Bundesliga side during the 2023-24 campaign.
With Dortmund looking to have entered the conversation, could Sancho be on his way back to his former club or will he end up at another club?
