Viktor Gyokeres has been at the centre of Manchester United’s recruitment plan for the entirety of the summer transfer window so far as Manchester United try to sign high-quality strikers that will boost both the squad numbers alongside the quality available in an attacking sense from the squad.
Gyokeres and United manager Ruben Amorim are not strangers to each other with the two crossing paths at Sporting CP, Amorim’s former club and Gyokeres’ current club.
This has led to many Red Devils fans speculating around the potential of seeing the striker in a Manchester United shirt.
This belief was further fuelled through the reporting that it was Gyokeres’ intention to choose a club in England to move to instead of Europe.
The Sporting star is also not a stranger to English football with previous spells at Coventry City, Brighton and Hove Albion and Swansea City preceding Gyokeres’ excellent spell at Sporting.

However, now, it has been reported by X account @Santi_J_FM that Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal are targeting the Swedish international.
This follows the Saudi side’s unsuccessful attempt to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen after Osimhen decided against joining Hilal instead deciding to choose a club in Europe to play for next season.
This rumour comes alongside the reporting that Al-Hilal are also going to try and sign current Manchester City player Bernardo Silva.
This comes in a time where Hilal are preparing for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, a crucial tournament for the side both in its financial gains and in pushing the club forward.
If Gyokeres were to sign for Al-Hilal, the Saudi side would be getting a well cultured, talented and immense figure who could push them forward and deliver for them when it is needed the most.
