Liverpool players have been closing out the season with their countries after winning the Premier League this term.
It has been a terrific campaign at Anfield, as the Reds delivered a record-equalling 20th English league title.
But while supporters have been basking in the glory of being champions once again, many Liverpool players are still hard at work.
There was a first look at Jeremie Frimpong on Saturday, with the new signing delivering an eye-catching display at right wing for the Netherlands.
On Sunday, it was the turn of Diogo Jota, who was aiming for silverware with Portugal in the UEFA Nations League final against Spain.
And having come from the bench in extra-time to help his nation to a penalty shootout win, Jota showed his delight at the full-time whistle.

As his importance within the Liverpool squad has slightly waned this season, Jota has also dropped out of the reckoning with Portugal.
The 28-year-old is still regularly making it into Roberto Martinez’s squad, but he is rarely more than a bit part player.

That was the case again on Sunday, as Liverpool’s No. 20 played the final 15 minutes or so of extra time. Jota was not one of the five players chosen to take a penalty, either.

Nevertheless, he still played his part and after completing his second trophy lift in two weeks, Jota took to social media site X to relay his delight.
“With you by our side, everything is possible. Thank you, Portugal!” Jota wrote, while he held the trophy in front of the stands.
Which other Liverpool players have won the Nations League?
Quite how much stock should be put into the Nations League is debatable. Judging by the reaction of Cristiano Ronaldo on Sunday evening, he’d quite like if people really did care about the trophy.

Unfortunately, as Jota’s somewhat lukewarm reaction would suggest, it does not carry much weight with the wider footballing world.
Nevertheless, it is still another trophy in the cabinet, and Jota has now extended his distinction of being the only Liverpool player to win the Nations League.
Jota was part of the squad which beat the Netherlands 1-0 in the 2019 final, although he was yet to join Liverpool at the time.
Judging by his diminishing importance and both club and country, there is a chance Jota is not part of Portugal’s team during the next tournament in 2027. For now, though, he’ll enjoy a second victory in a competition the Portuguese have come to love.
