All eyes were on the Nations League final as several Wolves players past and present celebrated Portugal’s victory.
Portugal beat Spain on penalties after the two sides couldn’t be separated over 120 minutes of football.
The winners of the Nations League consisted of a squad that featured as many as eight players with ties to Wolves.

Former Wolves captain Ruben Neves scored the decisive penalty to win the trophy for Portugal, which would have made many in the West Midlands very happy.
As well as Neves, Pedro Neto, Vitinha, Diogo Jota, Trincao and Pedro Goncalves were involved, alongside the pair that still call Molineux home.
Though Sa didn’t play in the final, Semedo was called into action at half-time of normal time, seeing the Wolves skipper play 75 minutes before the penalty shoot-out took place.
After the victory, Semedo, who is yet to decide his Wolves future, took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with the trophy.

Fellow former Wolf Daniel Podence also sent well wishes, ‘It’s rare but it happens a lot.’

The Wolves defender had the chance to score late in the contest, but wasn’t able to convert Neto’s cross.
Aside from showing an attacking spark, Vitor Pereira’s skipper had the task of keeping Nico Williams quiet, which he passed with flying colours.
