Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner is drawing interest from the Detroit Pistons in NBA free agency, even though he remains a strong candidate to re-sign with Indiana.

"There is a strong sentiment among various league executives that Turner will re-sign with Indiana," Jake Fischer reported on the Substack. "Cap strategists are projecting his salary to land in the $30 million range in terms of average annual value."
Still, Fischer noted that Detroit is a team to watch as a potential suitor if Turner explores the open market.
Turner is in line for a major payday this offseason. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, he and the Pacers have a mutual interest in working out a new deal.

The 28-year-old has spent his entire 10-year NBA career in Indiana after being selected 11th overall in the 2015 draft.
He averaged 15.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists during the regular season.
Turner is currently in the NBA Finals with the Pacers, and the series against the Oklahoma City Thunder is tied at 1–1.
