People covering the league for different teams are still surprised that Jenkins only got $3.05m. He has some incentives on top of this to earn more money based on his playing time. He can earn up to $1.5m if he plays 80% of the snaps, if he plays 70% he gets $1m and for 50% he will earn $500,000. Where he achieved more than 50% last season he has $500,000 counting against the salary cap currently. If he doesn't make this then the team will receive a cap credit in 2026. If he plays more than 80% then they will lose $1m of salary cap space next year as the rest of the incentives will be added on.

He is on his rookie deal, there are no incentives remaining in his contract.
