Liverpool are in the thick of the action this summer transfer window, hoping to get more deals over the line.
Jeremie Frimpong has already agreed to sign from Bayer Leverkusen after having his £29.5m release clause triggered. Liverpool and the Bundesliga club are now in ongoing negotiations over a deal for Florian Wirtz.

The Florian Wirtz saga progressed yesterday as the midfielder was taking part in his final June international with Germany. They lost to France, 2-0, in their UEFA Nations League match for third place.
Meanwhile the £113m (€130m) offer established on Friday, made up of £100m up front and £13m in add-ons, . Talks again are continuing despite the knock-back so there remains hope of an agreement.
Only now it is clear that Liverpool will not only have to break their own club transfer record, but the British one too. The Bundesliga club are suggested to be willing to compromise at £118m (€140m).

Hello and welcome everybody to our Liverpool transfer updates - it is a brand new week with plenty of pivotal moments to look forward to!
