Thomas Frank has agreed to become the next Tottenham manager following talks over the weekend, with the Dane now set to replace Ange Postecoglou if talks between Brentford and Daniel Levy go well.
It has been an eventful past few days for Tottenham Hotspur, who have been taking care of matters off the pitch, with several in-house departures, including the sacking of Ange Postecoglou.
The Australian became the 15th Spurs boss to be dismissed by chairman Daniel Levy after just two years in the Tottenham dugout, where a fifth-place finish in his debut season and a trophy in his second were among his key accomplishments.
However, failure to stay competitive in the Premier League ultimately cost Postecoglou his job, despite ending Tottenham’s 17-year trophy drought, with Daniel Levy now opting for a fresh start under a new manager for the 16th time in his 24 years as the club’s chairman.

Thomas Frank agrees to become new Tottenham manager
It has been reported that Tottenham are working on getting a deal over the line for their next manager, with an official announcement expected in the coming week.
A few names have emerged as possible replacements for Ange Postecoglou, with Brentford manager Thomas Frank reported to be the leading candidate, while Marco Silva and Oliver Glasner are viewed as alternative options.
Thomas Frank is understood to be open to taking the Tottenham job, and Brentford are said to be willing to let him go should a bigger club come calling.
MORE SPURS STORIES
The Sun have now reported that Thomas Frank has agreed to become manager of Tottenham following talks over the weekend.
It is also understood that while personal terms have already been agreed with the Dane, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy must still finalise a compensation package with Brentford’s chiefs before the deal can be completed.
Spurs set to hand Frank a Champions League chance
It was revealed only yesterday that Thomas Frank had been keen on a move to Tottenham for some time, regularly joking with members of his backroom staff about one day securing a move to N17.
The Dane, who has impressed during his time in West London with two top-half finishes in his last three seasons, would now be tasked with restoring competitiveness at Spurs after Ange Postecoglou oversaw their worst-ever Premier League finish last term, ending the 2024/25 campaign in 17th.
Tottenham are also set to play in the UEFA Champions League next season, having secured a place by winning the Europa League.
That means Thomas Frank will go up against some of Europe’s elite managers for the first time in his career, and with that in mind, he has already urged Tottenham to bring one of his Brentford stars with him to north London.
