**Newcastle United continue to be linked with a move for Manchester City flop Jack Grealish as the winger's future is up in the air.**
It looks more and more likely that Jack Grealish's time at Manchester City is set to come to an end with the £100 million signing from Aston Villa never having lived up to that lofty price tag.
For whatever reason, it just hasn't worked for Grealish under Pep Guardiola, but the England winger's high price tag and huge wages have made it practically impossible for City to shift him on.
Even now, the 29-year-old still has two years remaining on his deal, making it hard to find a new club.

Newcastle will only take Jack Grealish on loan
----------------------------------------------
Newcastle have long been touted as a suitable destination for Grealish. We've deliberately worded it that way as all the stories seem to suggest that it's media speculation saying that Grealish would be suitable for Newcastle rather than Newcastle being interested.
However, today, reports are surfacing at a rapid pace that Newcastle have laid down the one condition that could see Grealish join the Magpies.
[The Northern Echo](https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/25223742.newcastle-uniteds-stance-man-city-midfielder-jack-grealish/) have reiterated the rumour that Newcastle would only be interested in taking Jack Grealish on loan. In truth, that's the only way we can see it working. Man City, regardless of his current use to the squad, will want to recoup as much of their £100 million outlay as possible if they were to sell, and Grealish would have to take a pay cut of over 50% from his insane £300k-a-week wages.
Jack Grealish doesn't feel like the right move in any circumstances for us
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
With a loan, Newcastle could just pay a percentage of his wages and leave Man City to pay the rest. It's also a much lower risk than signing him on a permanent basis.
His career on the pitch has taken a nosedive, and that seems to be affecting his life off the pitch, too. Grealish keeps being spotted mortal drunk, having even been seen on the sesh in the North East recently.
Not only is Grealish a high-risk move for Newcastle, but the fact that he plays on the left wing, where Newcastle already have plenty of quality, also makes a move seem very unlikely.
It doesn't feel like the media are going to let this one drop, but we just don't see it happening.
