Randal Kolo Muani Pushes For Juventus Move As Serie A Side Face Stumbling Block In Negotiations …

Randal Kolo Muani has revealed his intentions to return to Juventus for the 2025/26 campaign, however, the Serie A side are facing a stumbling block in negotiations with PSG.

Will Randal Kolo Muani Join Juventus?

The French international has been the subject of various transfer sagas in recent years, joining PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt for around $80 million in September 2023 and then moving to Juventus on loan in January 2025.

During his short-term loan spell, Kolo Muani contributed to nine goals in 16 league appearances for Juventus, scoring eight goals and registering one assist.

After putting in some fairly strong performances in the black and white of Juve, Kolo Muani has caught the attention of the board, who are reportedly interested in keeping the Frenchman for next season.

With his future up in the air, the 26-year-old striker has spoken out about his wishes for the 2025/26 campaign and revealed a desire to stay in Turin – continuing his career in Italy.

Kolo Muani said: “I hope to continue there with Juventus. I am very happy at Juventus. They welcomed me well and I am enjoying myself. I am happy to have played a bit again, for club and for country.”

The French soccer star appears to have no route back into the PSG side, as Luis Enrique clearly preferred the likes of Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Picking this formula clearly worked for the Spanish manager, as PSG secured their first Champions League trophy with a record-breaking 5-0 win over Inter Milan.

Are PSG and Juventus In Talks Over Kolo Muani Deal?

As previously mentioned, the initial deal between PSG and Juventus over Kolo Muani was agreed on a short-term loan deal during the 2025 January transfer window.

However, this time around there is a slight issue in negotiations between the two European giants, with PSG reportedly wanting a ‘realistic’ buy-option in another loan deal.

The two clubs were in negotiations around Kolo Muani recently, but this was regarding an extension to the current loan deal which means the Frenchman can play for Juve at the FIFA Club World Cup.

There has been no murmurs over a deal on a permanent basis, which may suggest a slight concern over Kolo Muani’s reliability and any agreed fee would need to be around the $35m mark.

Juventus will be hoping to agree a deal swiftly and before the new season begins, especially after the 2025 Serie A fixtures were released and left The Old Lady with a home clash against Parma.

Are Other Clubs Interested In Kolo Muani?

With Kolo Muani’s time in Paris all-but over, a move away seems to be his only option and at 26-years-old his next move could be the biggest of his career so far.

Juventus, who are one of the favourites to win the Serie A title next season on the best offshore sportsbooks, appear to be the front-runner to land Kolo Muani’s signature.

There could be other options for the 2022 World Cup winner, with a host of Premier League sides looking to add a striker to their ranks this summer – including Manchester United and Arsenal.

However, there have been no talks over a move to the United Kingdom and the Juventus loanee looks set on returning to the Allianz Stadium next season.
