Fulham’s Sander Berge and Brentford’s Kristoffer Ajer featured for Norway in their impressive 3-0 win over Italy at the end of last week.
The duo’s contributions proved important as the Norwegians took a step closer to qualifying for the FIFA World Cup. Both Ajer and Berge attracted attention during the game and Corriere dello Sport believe that Bologna are keeping a close eye on the Fulham and Brentford players.
The Italian side’s sporting director Giovanni Sartori sent scouts from Bologna to keep a close eye on the Norway side against Italy, and the newspaper states the defender and midfielder have been on the Rossoblu’s radar for some time now.
Berge’s high price tag is a problem for Bologna but they could make an attempt for him, if the opportunity arises. The 27-year-old’s situation is being closely monitored by Sartori.
Bologna are looking towards recruiting from Norway’s national team, which is going through a good spell when it comes to talent.
