According to HoopsHype, which compiled a list based on its own sources and various media reports, the LA Lakers have brought in several prospects for pre-draft workouts.
These include Lamont Butler, Isaac Nogues, C.J. Huntley, Izan Almansa, and Clifford Omoruyi.
Among them, Omoruyi stands out as a true center.
He once led the Big Ten in blocks, averaging 1.7 blocks per game throughout his collegiate career. In the 2023–24 season with Rutgers University, he recorded an impressive 2.9 blocks per game, totaling 93 blocks that year.
Omoruyi is also a strong rebounder. He averaged 12.2 rebounds per 40 minutes in college. In his most recent season at the University of Alabama, he posted 6.5 rebounds per game in just 19.2 minutes of action.
Another name to watch is Izan Almansa, a versatile 20-year-old Spanish power forward/center. He played for the Perth Wildcats in Australia's NBL this past season, averaging 6.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.

Almansa has shown tremendous promise at the international level. Before joining the NBL, he played for NBA G League Ignite and starred for Spain's youth national teams.
He earned MVP honors in the 2023 FIBA U19 World Cup, 2022 FIBA U18 European Championship, and the 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup.
The Lakers hold the No. 55 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft—the same selection they used last year to draft Bronny James.
